For multi-crew landscape companies leaving LMNSwitching from LMN, with your numbers intact.

You built your budget in LMN and you know your man-hour rate. That comes with you. Type in your LMN overhead recovery and Shortcut shows the same rate on day one, then keeps it current from payroll and the time clock instead of a rebuild every January. Everything else our team rebuilds overnight at no fee, with both systems side by side for up to two weeks.

  • Your man-hour rate, reproduced on day one.
  • A crew app that works where the signal doesn't.
  • Customers who can text you back.

What doesn't

Three things, and what we do about each.

  • Saved card data. LMN Pay does not hand over saved cards. Shortcut re-enrolls autopay with a pay link and a saved-card prompt on the first invoice, and lists who has not re-enrolled yet. Payments run on your own Stripe account: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH, AutoPay.
  • Academy courses and Greenius training records. Those stay with LMN. Shortcut's help center and the walkthrough cover the product, and the team that built it answers the same day.
  • Historic timesheets before go-live. Time Clock history in Shortcut starts the day you turn it on. Export your LMN Time data before you give notice; LMN's terms hold your data for 30 days after termination, then delete it3.

Switching from LMN

We do the switch. Give us access, and we do the rest.

Our team rebuilds your customers, properties, recurring schedules, services and pricing, crews, estimates, invoices, payment history, and employees overnight, then walks you through the result. On the walkthrough, you type in your overhead recovery and watch the man-hour rate match. No fee.

Why operators leave

Keep the numbers. Make the day easy.

LMN customers love the budget and knowing their numbers. Read their reviews and that is five stars, consistently. The rest of the day is what they describe wanting to be easier, and each line links to where it came from.

  • One board instead of three. LMN schedules from the Jobs page, the Whiteboard, and the Calendar; route optimization runs one crew at a time; schedule changes "cannot be adjusted from the app"4. Shortcut is one board for every crew, fleet optimization with preview and undo, and crews that skip, flag, and add services from the truck.
  • A crew app that works where the signal doesn't. LMN Crew sits at 3.2 stars on the US App Store, with recent reviews describing trouble loading long routes and notes re-entered after crashes6. Shortcut's app queues every tap offline and replays it when service returns, in English or Spanish per person, and the owner runs dispatch from the same app.
  • Customers who can text back. LMN's own FAQ says a customer's reply "will not be received by anyone in the company," and texting is transactional only1. Shortcut has a two-way inbox and automations that send on your rules.
  • Job costing at every size. On LMN, real-time job costing is on the $648 Professional tier2. On Shortcut it is included at every size.

When you have an issue

A real person, same day.

Every Shortcut customer gets a direct line to our team, including me. The same people who moved your data answer you, same day, every day. If you've spent a week waiting on a ticket, you already know why that matters.

Switching from LMN, answered.

What an LMN customer asks on the first call, in plain words.

Can I reproduce my LMN man-hour rate in Shortcut?

Yes. Shortcut's rate card takes loaded labor, overhead recovery, and a target net percentage and shows the required rate per man-hour, with each input labeled measured, modeled, or declared. LMN's field-labor-hour method is a preset: enter your forecast overhead and budgeted hours and you get the same number. From there, wages update from payroll and hours from the time clock.

Does Shortcut have budget-based estimating?

Yes. Every estimate shows break-even and margin on each line before it sends, and install estimates carry a full cost build-up: labor at loaded rates, materials, equipment per hour, and overhead recovery by cost type. There is no annual budget to activate; the model is live and you confirm its numbers as they drift.

How long does the switch take?

One night for the import, up to two weeks side by side, then your crews go live on a Monday with us on the phone for the first eight hours.

What happens to my jobsite measurements?

They become property boundaries. New leads auto-measure from parcel data and imagery, with lawn, drives, and walks as zones you can redraw, and no per-measure fee.

Will my customers' saved cards move?

No processor hands over card data. Shortcut re-enrolls autopay with a pay link and a saved-card prompt on the first invoice, and lists who has not re-enrolled yet.

When should I give LMN notice?

After the side-by-side period. LMN's agreement auto-renews, its fees are non-refundable, and cancellation goes through support or your account manager. Export first: their terms hold your data for 30 days after termination, then delete it.

Does Shortcut handle installs and snow like LMN?

Yes. Installs run as Projects with phases, deposits, change orders flagged from the field, and milestone billing, on the same board as maintenance. Snow is a service with a trigger depth and a per-push depth ladder, dispatched by accumulation, with on-call salting offered by text.

Does Shortcut work with QuickBooks?

QuickBooks Online syncs customers, services, invoices, payments, refunds, and credits automatically. QuickBooks Desktop is supported as a custom configuration set up with you on the walkthrough.

Does it cost anything to switch?

No. After that, $180 per crew per month, everything included, month to month. Cancel in the app.
